Fortnite Is Postponing The Release Of Their Next Season Until June

Since releasing in 2017, Fortnite has become one of the most popular played games. I myself even tried it out. I know, can you believe it?!

Well truth be told, the game was pretty fun and I actually enjoyed it, LOL! I don’t play it anymore, but I’ve heard the demographics for Fortnite right now, is a much younger audience.

Currently Fortnite is running Chapter 2, Season 2 in the game, and well, let me just say that I hope your children are in love with the season because it looks like it’s staying around a bit longer than usual.

Unfortunately, Season 3 was supposed to come out at the end of this month, but will be delayed until June 4, 2020.

We’re extending Chapter 2 – Season 2 of Fortnite beyond the original April 30 date. Our plan is to launch Chapter 2 – Season 3 on June 4.

However, players can expect updates that will bring in new content for an even more exciting experience.

According to Epic Games,

“Before then, there’s lots of content coming in the current Season. We have multiple game updates on the way that will deliver fresh gameplay, new Challenges, bonus XP, and a couple more surprises up our sleeve!”

So it looks like Fortnite will be bringing players some cool new aspects that fans can look forward too and who knows, maybe I might even pick up the controller again!
