Here Is How To Track Your $1,200 Check On The IRS Website

It’s about to be SUPER easy to track your stimulus check from the IRS, and here is what we know.

I don’t know about y’all, but I keep staring at my bank account info, just trying to will my stimulus check to hit.

I filed my taxes in 2018, but I haven’t yet filed for 2019, so I’m expecting it will take a little while for mine to show up in my account.

Luckily, the IRS is bringing us an online tool, called the “Get My Payment” application, and it will make tracking your stimulus check much easier.

With this online application, you will be able to:

* Check your payment status
* Confirm your payment type: direct deposit or check
* Enter your bank account information for direct deposit if we don’t have  your direct deposit information and we haven’t sent your payment yet

It will be active starting in mid-April — like April 17th — so be on the lookout!

You simply go to the IRS.gov website, and click on the application button. It really couldn’t be any easier.

We know that eligible taxpayers will get $1200 and $2400 for married couples. You will also get $500 for each qualifying dependent 16 years old or younger.

The first batch of checks went out on April 11th. They should continue filtering out to bank accounts very soon.
