All you need to do is call up your banking or credit card institution and request to speak with someone regarding a financial hardship.
Explain your situation and they have programs that can help you skip or lower payments in order to get through this hard time.

Companies Offering Grants And Help Paying Bills
Many companies across the nation are coming together to offer grants that can help families in financial distress pay their monthly bills. Below is information for many of these companies.
BC Hydro – Customers facing temporary financial hardship and possible disconnection of their service due to job loss, illness, or loss of a family member may also be eligible for BC Hydro’s Customer Crisis Fund, which provides access to grants of up to $600 to pay their bills.
ConvertKit – This email provider is offering a $50,000 fund called The Creator Fund to support creators in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aside from companies, many cities are announcing grants to help others as well. Check with your local city to see if they have grants in place to help.
Student Loan Help
In case you haven’t heard, President Trump has issued a bill that will waive student loan interest during this time.
You can also contact your student loan provider for additional assistance.
Help for Small Businesses
Some of the people who will feel the biggest impact during this time is small businesses. They do not have the luxury of paid time off nor do they have vacation time.

Amazon – Amazon has provided a $5 million Neighborhood Small Business Relief Fund to provide cash grants to local small businesses that need assistance during this difficult time.

On top of that, many school’s are still offering free breakfast and lunch and are not closing down the cafeteria’s. Contact the schools in your area and ask about their free school lunch programs.
