Jason David Frank Best Known for Being The Green Power Ranger, Has Died

I am so sad to hear this!!

I grew up watching The Power Rangers with my brother and it’s something that will be invoked in me forever…

With that being said, we have a Power Ranger down today because news broke that Jason David Frank aka The Green Power Ranger, has died.

Rumors of his death began circulating this weekend but people didn’t believe it was true.

Unfortunately, a rep for Jason David Frank has confirmed the news to Geek Ireland.

Mike Bronzoulis, his trainer and close friend also posted the news on Facebook saying:

RIP my brother from another mother Jason David Frank I’m still in shock I’m feeling terrible he called left me a message and I took to long  Jason was a good friend to me and I will miss him. Love n prayers for his wife Tammie and their kids, I prey that God gets yall through this difficult time.

Jason David Frank played Green Ranger Tommy Oliver on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and he died at the young age of 49.

As of right now, there is no word on his official cause of death nor has his family made a statement.

There are rumors it was suicide but that has not been confirmed at this time.

So sad!

RIP Jason – you will always and forever be our Green Ranger.
