John Wick 5 Is Confirmed and Will Be Filmed At The Same Time As John Wick 4
Awwwww yeah!! John Wick fans, check this out!
According to Comic Book, Lionsgate just confirmed that there will be a 5th John Wick film! Like, OFFICIALLY! Keanu Reeves fans everywhere, rejoice!
The John Wick films are distributed by Lionsgate and have been a box office smash. The three that are already out have generated over $579 million dollars worldwide. That is a lot of money y’all!
During an earnings call, studio CEO John Feltheimer said that as soon as Keanu Reeves is available, they plan to shoot John Wick: Chapter 4 and John Wick 5 back-to-back!
Right now the plan is that John Wick 4 will be released on May 27, 2022. That’s Memorial Day weekend next year.
Right now Keanu Reeves is still filming Matrix 4 because production had been closed due to the pandemic.
We’re also busy preparing scripts for the next two installments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend 2022. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.

So far there have not been any details released about the plot for John Wick 4. I’m sure we can count on it being jam-packed with action as we are used to from the John Wick series!
This is exciting! I actually love it when they shoot continuously like this because everything seems to flow better. It has worked so well for other movies, like The Lord of The Rings Trilogy!
