Kim Kardashian showed up at a second of Kanye’s listening parties for his upcoming album, Donda. And it seemed awkward.

Kanye sang some new lyrics, completely directed at Kim. Whether he decided it on the spot when he saw her or not, we don’t know. But either way it was a bit cringy to me.

During the listening party, Kanye was seen breaking down and becoming emotional when he performed a song titled “Love Unconditionally,” which is believed to be about the breakdown of his and Kim’s marriage.

The song started with a voiceover from his mother, Donda, saying the words, “No matter what, you never abandon your family”. He then repeatedly rapped: “I’m losing my family, I’m losing my family.”

Kim also showed up in an outfit matching Kanye’s…which has us all SUPER confused.

At one point while singing, Kanye supposedly started pleading to Kim to come back to him. “I’m losing all my family, darling come back to me,” he rapped while getting down on his knees.

He hinted in another song that she was still in love with him. If Kim was unaware of these lyrics beforehand, I can only imagine how awkward this must have been. But it’s very…Kanye.

“Time and space is a luxury,” he rapped as she looked on from the crowd, “but you came here to show that you’re still in love with me.”

Whatever his intentions were behind singing those lyrics with Kim in the crowd, I feel like it was just a bit too much.
