I love Pecan Pie, especially during the fall months, but I don’t like spending the day in the hot kitchen trying my hand at getting a pretty pecan delicacy.
That’s what makes this recipe so genius!
With only a few simple ingredients, you can have a DELICIOUS Pecan Pie WITH Apples, and people will think you spent hours slaving over your stove.
It will be our little secret that you only dumped a few ingredients in a baking dish, and threw it in the oven while you watched an episode of your favorite Netflix show.
I mean, you will hardly even have any dishes the clean up with this recipe!
Here Are The Ingredients You Will Need To Make This Pecan Pie Dump Cake
1 20-Ounce Can of Apple Pie Filling (it’s even better with CARAMEL Apple Pie Filling!)
1 Bag of Pecans
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar (you can omit this if you don’t want it as sweet)
1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix
1 Stick of Salted Butter
Now You Just Basically Dump It All In A Baking Dish
Open your can of Apple Pie Filling, and layer it in the bottom of a 9 by 13 baker.
Combine the Pecans and Brown Sugar in a mixing bowl (or just dump the Brown Sugar into the bag of Pecans, and shake it like a polaroid picture)
Sprinkle (AKA dump) the Pecan mixture onto the Apple Pie Filling.
Spread the dry Yellow Cake Mix on top of the Pecan mixture.
Grab a microwave safe mug, and put your Butter into it.
Microwave your Stick of Butter for about 45 seconds.
Pour The Butter evenly all over the dry Cake Mix.
Now you want to bake the entire thing at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Let it cool just a bit before you dig in.
THEN, scoop yourself out a big heaping pile of that Pecan Apple goodness!!
If you want to get REALLY crazy, top it with some vanilla ice cream.
