According to reports, Lady Gaga Is In Talks To Play Harley Quinn in Joker 2 and We Are Here For It!
The Hollywood Reporter announced that Lady Gaga is in early talks to star alongside Joaquin Phoenix in director Todd Phillips’ sequel to Joker.
Rather than being a big movie production it would actually be a musical sequel.
The title of the new project — Joker: Folie à deux.
Todd Phillips has been co-writing the script with Joker co-writer Scott Silver and they have finally shown it to the studio but no actual deal has been met yet.
If a deal is made, Lady Gaga would play Harley Quinn. However, this would be a Harley Quinn that exists in a different DC universe than the Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.
This is really exciting and I think Lady Gaga would be a fantastic Harley Quinn, especially in a musical!
