McDonald’s Is Now Offering Curbside Pickup To Truck Drivers
Leave it to McDonald’s to be the heroes of the drive-thru world.
All restaurants have shut their dining-room doors to customers. Some of them offer a to-go type service, handing out food through their front doors. But, not everyone can freely go to a full-on restaurant for their food.
Fast food establishments have kept their drive thrus open, but there is ONE segment of the population — who probably needs this fast food WAY more than we do — who can’t just pop though a drive-thru line.
I’m talking about Truck Drivers, the unsung heroes of this pandemic. They are tirelessly working to bring all of our essential needs to our local grocery stores, but they have had their greatest food source cut off.
They can’t just pop through the drive-thru line in their big old truck.
McDonald’s has come up with a way to combat this problem.
If the truck driver orders through the McDonald’s Order & Pay app, McDonald’s will offer them curbside pickup.
All the truck driver has to do is order via the app, pull up to a designated parking spot that is dedicated to this curbside pickup, and a McDonald’s employee will bring out their food!
They don’t even have to get out of their trucks! How awesome is that?!?
Make sure you tell all your truck driving friends about this option! It just might make their entire day.
