Netflix Confirmed Ozark Season 4 Will Be The Final Season With Extra Episodes and I’m So Sad
I’m sad, super sad. Ozark is one of my favorite shows, like nearly up there with Dexter. Jason Bateman is an amazing actor and I loved everything about the show.
Well, Netflix just confirmed that this 4th season of Ozark will be the final season.
The final season (I’m near tears y’all) will have additional episodes, so it will have 14 episodes in total. Season 4 is also being released in 2 parts, so that is 7 episodes each. This will conclude the story…
We’re so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right. It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible.

Ozark first premiered on Netflix back in 2017. I was hooked from the very first episode. It’s dark, funny, exciting, it is everything I love in a show. The characters are all magnificent. I mean, I even loved the bad guys.
Ozark has had 14 Emmy nominations and 2 wins so far. Jason Bateman for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series and for Julia Garner for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.
It also had 2 Golden Globe nominations and 6 Screen Actor’s Guild nominations for the amazing performances by Jason Bateman, Julia Garner and Laura Linney.

So what are your thoughts on this? Any ideas on how they will end this? I need a GREAT ending! Dexter left me hurting with that ending, same with The Sopranos…I need something I can feel ok with. I need closure. I’m going to miss you Ruth!
