Charles is Now King, Here is The New Order of Britain’s Succession For The Monarchy
Queen Elizabeth II passed away yesterday at the age of 96 and now Charles will be known as King Charles III.
This changes the order of Britain’s succession to the monarchy, making his sons and grandchildren next in line for the throne.
Here is an updated list of the next 15 people in line:
1. Prince William, is the eldest son of Charles and Princess Diana (who of course we all know has passed). Prince William is married to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, AKA Kate Middleton. They have three children.
2. Prince George of Cambridge, son of Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge, was born in July 2013.
3. Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, daughter of Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge, was born in May 2015.
4. Prince Louis of Cambridge, son of Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge, was born in April 2018.
5. Prince Harry, is the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.
6. Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, son of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was born in May 2019.
7. Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, daughter of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was born in June 2021.
8. Prince Andrew, is the second eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
9. Princess Beatrice, who is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
10. Sienna Elizabeth, who is the daughter of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, was born in September 2021.
11. Princess Eugenie, is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York.
12. August Brooksbank, son of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank was born in February 2021.
13. Prince Edward, the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
14. James, Viscount Severn, is the younger child of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
15. Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor is the eldest child of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
All of those changes are a lot to keep up with, I’m glad I’m not a record keeper.
