It’s been around four years since Netflix took away the beloved show The Office from their streaming platform, I know, can you believe it?

And if you were a fan who was disheartened by Netflix’s decision, you’ll be happy to know that The Office, may not be gone forever.

A new iteration of “The Office” is officially in the works thanks to Peacock according to Variety!

Now it’s important to note that the new television series is not a reboot or a spinoff of The Office, sadly.

However, The Office fans can expect the show to be a new mockumentary series set in the same universe with production to begin as soon as this July!

Now it does pain to me say this, but the new show will also have a different cast, sorry Pam, Michael Scott, Dwight, and Jim.

But don’t panic, because if this show is even a quarter as funny as the original Office, we can be hopeful that this mockumentary series will be just as successful at making us belly laugh!

So if you’re interested in what this new show is all about, check out the official summary right below!
