When I think of Nicolas Cage, I think of memes. That’s what the world has done to us. So to find out that he’s going to be saying countless swear words in an attempt to school us on their history has me more excited than I would like to admit.

This show is set to release in January 2021. The six episode series will look into the origins, pop culture, science and cultural impact of swear words, such as “fuck,” “shit,” “bitch,” “dick,” “pussy” and “damn.”

In each 20-minute episode, Nicolas Cage will conduct interviews with historians, entertainers and experts in etymology and pop culture to give us a better understanding of the words.

They also already have a great line up of guest stars such as: Joel Kim Booster, DeRay Davis, Open Mike Eagle, Nikki Glaser, Patti Harrison, London Hughes, Jim Jefferies, Zainab Johnson, Nick Offerman, Sarah Silverman, Baron Vaughn, and Isiah Whitlock Jr.

I don’t know about you, but I plan to binge watch this with my husband. I’ve always wondered about the historical side of these words but I also feel like this is going to end up being hilarious.

Just hearing Nicolas Cage say half of these words and the memes to follow will do it justice for me!
