Slow your roll, people. Quit believing EVERYTHING you read on Social Media.

I understand being concerned about this COVID-19, but make sure you fact check what you are seeing.

The latest thing I saw someone say was that The CDC is now telling all men they should shave off their beards.

What people are referring to is this graphic that is being passed around from the CDC website.

According to the CDC, itself, this is an OLD graphic, and was strictly talking to a specific set of individuals in the workplace. It’s from 2017 — long before the coronavirus.

This blog and infographic from 2017 are intended for workers who wear respirators at work. For the most up-to-date information on Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), please visit CDC’s COVID-19 website.
