People are Using Ice Cubes in The Dryer. Here’s Why.

I just learned an easy hack for getting those pesky wrinkles out of your clothes, and this could be a game changer.

I hate to do the laundry, but I really, really, really hate to iron.

Standing there, at a janky unstable metal table, fighting to get the clothing smoothed out around the corners — UGH!!

And, then there is the heat. Blech. The steam coming off the iron mixed with the warmer temperatures during the summer is a recipe for beads of sweat running down my face and frizzy bouffant hair.

Seriously, half the time, I just let my family go out in half-wrinkled clothes, because I hate ironing THAT much.

I have done the whole thing where you get a towel wet, and throw it in the dryer with your clothes.

Yeah, it works. But, most of the time I am rushing around, and either 1) forget to put the wet towel in with the clothes, or 2) I’m just hella lazy, and don’t want to take the time.

But, check this out. There is an easier way to get those wrinkles out of your clothes.

No. I’m not talking about hanging them up in the bathroom while you take a steamy shower — that requires too much forethought.

Do you have a pen and paper so you can write this hack down? It’s a good one!

So, you go to take your clothes out of the dryer, and WHOOPS! They have been in there too long, and the wrinkles have started to set in.

Quick, go run to your freezer, and take out about 5 ice cubes.

Throw those bad boys in with your clothes, and set the dryer for about 30 minutes.

It probably won’t take that long, but just experiment with your dryer.

Isn’t that super simple?!?

If you are anything like me, you are running around your house anyway. Gotta get all those chores done!

Just grab some ice on one of your passes through the kitchen, and throw it in with your wrinkly clothes.

If you take your clothes out of the dryer as soon as they finish hanging out with the ice, your clothes will be nice and fresh — no wrinkles!!

Try it! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
