President Biden Has Just Signed The Bill Banning TikTok
Well, it happened…
President Biden has just signed the bill that will ban TikTok unless it’s sold to a US company.
The bill signing came after the bill was approved by the Senate on Tuesday night.
While the bill has been signed, nothing will happen immediately. Everyone has about 9 months before the app goes away.
This also means that TikTok has the chance to fight this in court and the company is confident they will win.
TikTok’s head honcho Shou Zi Chew posted a video Wednesday regarding this ban stating that him and his partners will continue to fight this. You can watch his video below.

The bill that Biden signed gives TikTok’s Chinese parent, ByteDance, 270 days to sell TikTok.
And if they don’t, TikTok would be prohibited from US app stores and from “internet hosting services” that support it.
Honestly, I knew this would happen but I also hoped it wouldn’t.
TikTok seems to be the last place I can get unbiased information and news about the world and this ban just means our government has more control.
So, I guess we will see what happens moving forward.
