A Rabid Bobcat Attacked A Man And Woman And It Was All Captured On Video

I am one of those people that are always aware of my surroundings. Living out in the country made me hyper vigilant about wild animals.

There is a security video that captured the moment that a man and woman were attacked in their own neighborhood. They were simply walking out to their car, carrying a pet carrier.

Out of nowhere you hear the creepy call of a bobcat, the next thing you see is the bobcat attacking the woman carrying the pet carrier.

The man grabs up the bobcat while getting attacked himself and yeeeeets that critter across the yard. When something like this happens it is usually safe to assume that the wild animal is rabid and it needs to be put down.

In the comments made by the friend of the family, the man did retrieve his gun and put the animal down. It was tested and confirmed to have rabies.

Both the man and the woman are being treated for rabies and y’all, that treatment is NO joke!

So this is your warning, always be aware. You never know when something like this could happen and you don’t have to be out in the country for it to happen.

Dogs, cats, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, bobcats… watch your back! However, opossums very RARELY are able to carry rabies. They may look scary, but are normally harmless.
