Ryan Reynolds Will Soon Be Receiving The Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award

Soon enough, Ryan Reynolds be receiving an award with great honor.

Ryan Reynolds will soon be brining home an award from Glenn Close’s Bring Change to Mind’s nonprofit at the 11th annual Revels & Revelations fundraiser.

The receiver of the Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter award will officially be given to Ryan Reynolds, an award that is given to the recipient from Robin’s children, Zak, Zelda, and Cody.

Ryan will be following in the footsteps of Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Ben Stiller, Melissa McCarthy, and Dan and Eugene Levy who are all previous recipients of the award.

The award, which will be given at New York’s City Winery will have performances from Reba McEntire and Amy Schumer scheduled throughout the night.

Musicians including Jake Wesley Rogers, Jayli Wolf, and BC2M ambassador Wayne Brady will also be attending along with Paul Shaffer, who will serve as the night’s musical director and Erich Bergen as host.

Live auctions will also be conducted throughout the program which will be led by Scott Nevins, and will include several items and experiences such has a signed guitar from Taylor Swift!

The funds raised throughout the night will go towards BC2M’s high school program.

The program, will held in New York City at City Winery New York on October 9.

“I am looking forward to a spectacular evening and am grateful for the generosity of my fellow artists who will gather to honor Ryan Reynolds and to inspire what I hope will be a record-breaking evening to sustain and create vital Bring Change to Mind Clubs throughout this country,” said Glenn Close.
