This has got to be one of the only reasons that I ever head to McDonald’s anymore… the Shamrock Shake!

It’s like one of those core childhood memory triggers!

The Shamrock Shake and Oreo Shamrock McFlurry are returning to McDonald’s for a limited time and I pray that the machines will be up and running so I can get my once-a-year treat!

McDonald’s is bringing back both of these sweet green treats this month at participating restaurants nationwide.

Did you know that the Shamrock Shake has been served at McDonald’s for over 50 years?

The Shamrock Shake is a green milkshake that is always served just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

The very first Ronald McDonald House was actually built from proceeds made from the Shamrock Shake, which is something that I just recently learned!

I’ve had friends that have used the Ronald McDonald House and it has been such a huge help for them.

The Oreo Shamrock McFlurry was added to the menu in 2020 as a limited-time menu item.

It’s similar to the Shamrock Shake but is thicker and has Oreo cookie pieces blended in.

The Shamrock Shake and Oreo Shamrock McFlurry will return to menus at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide starting on February 21st!
