This week has been a tough one for Oscar winning actor, Will Smith (and with good reason).
As new details emerge surrounding the very public Chris Rock slap during The Oscars last week, people continue to be riled up and upset.
It’s clear that for most people, they are siding with Chris Rock. After all, assault/violence is never the answer.
And now, brands are truly beginning to take notice as just how upset fans are everywhere about what happened.
News just broke that Some of Will Smith’s Upcoming Projects Have Been Paused in Wake of The Chris Rock Slap.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has put a pause on an upcoming film starring Will Smith Film titled ‘Fast and Loose’.
In addition, Bad Boys 4 at Sony which had been in active development, will now be paused as well, a source said.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if more of his upcoming projects followed suit.
Looks like things are continually getting bad for Will Smith and I just hope this can serve a lesson that things like this can be handled without violence in the future.
