The Special Meaning Behind Jennifer Lopez's Engagement Ring from Ben Affleck: 'It's My Lucky Color'

Looks like marriage is on the table once again for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.

News broke late last night when Jennifer announced her engagement to Ben Affleck in her On the JLo newsletter.

In the newsletter, she discusses how she realized that the color green is her lucky color and has a special meaning to her.

“I always say the color green is my lucky color,” Pointing to the iconic jungle-print Versace gown she wore to the 2000 Grammys.
“Maybe you can remember a certain green dress.”

She then went on to discuss other moments in her life when green really came through for her.

“I’ve realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green,” she continued.

The specialness of green is her association between the color green and good fortune. She says “there are no coincidences” in life.

In case you forgot, this is her second engagement to Ben Affleck.

His previous engagement ring to her was a $1.2M pink diamond engagement ring from Ben Affleck in 2002.

This time around, he wanted to make sure their marriage was lucky from the start and gave her a gigantic green ring which she briefly flashes in her announcement via via her newsletter.
