So, I knew this day was coming and I feared it.

I kept hearing rumors and I just didn’t want to believe it.

But after all this time CW has announced that Supernatural is ending after Season 15.

*cut the tears and sappy music*

Carry on, my wayward son
There’ll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don’t you cry no more……

Yes, I know, I feel your pain.

I had HOPED it was an early April Fool’s joke.

But nope, The CW confirmed it earlier today.

I have to admit, the first season was rough and it took my husband and I over 3 months to get through it.

It was bad.

People kept telling us to stick it out and I am so glad we did.

It is now one of our favorite series and I am so sad it’s coming to an end.

Stars of the show announced the heartbreaking news on Twitter earlier by posting this video:

Executive producers Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer released a statement following the stars’ announcement:

“Firstly, we would like to thank all the people who have been involved with the show both in front of and behind the camera. For us it has been an experience of a lifetime. The support we have had from both Warner Bros Television and The CW has been incredible.  We’d like to give special thanks to Jensen, Jared and Misha for making this journey so special. It is now most important to us to give these characters that we love the send off they deserve.”

I’m not crying, you are!

Okay, I totally am.

I know, I know, it’s been a great run and 15 seasons is quite incredible for a show to do so well.

While we all mourn the loss of this amazing series, just remember that we’ve still got them for another year.

The 14th season ended with a bang and we can’t see where they take season 15 into the finale.
