Some people would love to go out into the desert and be chased and terrified by Jason Voorhees. I am not one of those people. Like … AT ALL.

So when I heard about this terrifying night of “fun” offered by On Pins And Needles, I … Well, to be honest, I closed out my browser really quickly, shut my computer, and threw it across the desk.

When my 12-year-old daughter talked me into being brave enough, I opened my computer back up to the awful picture of Jason, and started reading about the event.

This night of panicked horror starts out lovely enough. Everyone is treated to a meal around a friendly campfire. I imagine friends gathering around a crackling fire, sharing stories and laughter. Nice, huh?

No. Before you know it, the 25 minutes of deathly fright ensues.

Love Horror Movies? This company will pay you to watch them by Halloween.

You have to solve puzzles in order to survive the death machine that is Jason.

(Keep in mind, his weakness is water. You are in a desert. Good luck finding water.)

Now, you can be brave, and take on this demonic puzzle-filled game of deathly cat and mouse by competing along side a group of friends. Or, you can be completely INSANE, and go it alone.

If you MUST know the details, it’s called F13: Survive Jason, and it’s hosted by On Pins And Needles, based out of Arizona. They offer it about twice a month throughout the year, and it will cost you $25 per person, including dinner.

It is held in different locations each time, so make sure you know where you are going.

You must be 18 years or older to participate, so I’m about to lie about my age. HA.
