I really think Taco Bell is trying to make up for the fact they took away all my favorites on their menu. I say that because they have now released their own wine. Yes, I said wine.

(CNW Group/Taco Bell Canada)

Taco Bell Canada is the one releasing this wine and in a press release said it is “irresistible,” adding that “the rich taste and crunchy texture of the beloved Toasted Cheesy Chalupa complements notes of wild strawberry, cherry and beetroot in this silky limited-edition red wine.”

Wait, what? It’s a crunchy texture? Does that mean it has bits of chalupa in it? Hmmmm I am not sure about this…

The wine is made at an Ontario, Canada vineyard and is being called a collector’s item because it has three unique bottle labels. I think it’s a collector’s item for how weird it sounds…

Nonetheless, as of right now, it will not be sold in the US but will cost $25 Canadian or about $19 US.

You can buy it on Taco Bell’s Canada website or in some locations in Ontario. It will go on sale on 9/16/20.
