Taco Bell Just Launched A Rewards Program So You Can Earn Free Food
Y’all! I downloaded the Taco Bell app last night — because, why not?!? — and right there at the bottom of the app, it had an icon for a Beta version of a Taco Bell rewards program.
Um — yes, please. Sign me up. Goodness knows, I buy enough Taco Bell, I may as well get rewarded for all my tasty purchases!
Now, because it’s a Beta version, that means it is being tested out. Typically, a Beta version means they will let a limited number of users try out the application.
So, go sign up for it, because you never know when they will reach their max for Beta users!!
Just for signing up with the awards program, you get a Doritos Locos taco! I’ll take it. I mean, it’s free!!
So, the way the program works is: you will get 10 points for every dollar you spend on the Taco Bell menu — before taxes. Once you get up to 250 points, you will earn free product — burritos, cinnamon twists, tacos, etc.
If you hit 2,000 points in a calendar year, you’ll get promoted to “Fire Tier” where you’ll earn 11 points per eligible dollar spent and get access to even more reward options. Pretty sweet, right?
Taco Bell
The catch is, you have to order and pay through the app. But, that’s no problem. You will have access to the SAME Taco Bell menu that you would typically see in the store.
The rewards program will also give you the chance to complete challenges — I’m guessing much like the Starbucks app — to earn free food. Um — it’s free food — so I’m all in!
Now, these rewards points DO expire. You have to use them within 6 months, or you lose them. All the more reason to go to Taco Bell tonight, AMIRITE?!?
