Okay, I am in need of some serious good karma in 2010 because well, a certain book will probably be headed out on submission then, and I need to pay it forward just to make sure I’m swimming in the good juju and vibes and junk.

Yeah, I’m done being all witch doctor.

Now I have that witch doctor song stuck in my head. What? You don’t? Let me fix that…

Okay, now that we’re all on the same wavelength, let me get to the real reason behind this blog post. It’s the 2010 Debut Author Challenge. Baiscally, The Story Siren has challenged us all to read a set number of YA novels by debut Authors in 2010.

I am so in. I will read 30 books by Young Adult Debut Authors in 2010. Oh yeah.

So, my list will sit here and I will update it when I decide all the books I simply have to read but, for now here are a few to get me started:

1. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

2. Anna and the Boy Masterpiece by Stephanie Perkins

3. The Cinderella Society by Kay Cassidy

This is going to be way fun!

  1. That’s a great idea. I should probably start compiling my To Be Read pile for next year too…

Good luck with your novel 🙂

  2. Jammie!
That’s a great idea! I’d love to get in. I’m hoping I get a kindle this Christmas, so I can buy YA from the States at the same price as you.
Buying normal books from Amazon is kind of pricey for the delivery expenses.
I know I’d be reading a lot more if I got a Kindle. But yet… not sure if that’s good, because I already use lots of my time to read. LOL.
Anyway, will try to jump in, not sure which books yet. Or if I’ll have to wait till they make it to Spain.
