Tom Brady Just Announced He’s Leaving The New England Patriots
Well dang, first it’s being confined to our homes and now this – Tom Brady Just Announced He’s Leaving The New England Patriots.
In case you didn’t know, Tom Brady has been the Quarterback for the New England Patriots and his announcement came as a shock for some.
However, according to some reports, The New England Patriots and Tom Brady reportedly had “no negotiation” about a new contract before the he announced Tuesday he’s going to leave the franchise in free agency.
Basically, because the New England Patriots weren’t taking his contract renewal seriously, it spoke to him louder than words and he announced his departure.
In a heartfelt letter to his team mates, Tom Brady wrote:
“To all my teammates, coaches, executives and staff, Coach Belichick, RKK and the Kraft family and the entire organization. I want to say thank you for the past twenty years of my life and the daily commitment to winning and creating a winning culture built on great values”.
He continued:
“Although my football journey will take place elsewhere, I appreciate everything that we have achieved and am grateful for our incredible TEAM accomplishments. I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to know each and everyone of you, and to have the memories we’ve created together.”
So, where is he going?
Nobody knows!
But as of Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET he can sign with a new team when the new league year gets underway.
