Yesterday was fun, wasn’t it? If you were on Facebook or social media at all you probably saw brooms standing on their own.

I know as soon as I saw it, I tried it and then wrote about it. My kids had a ton of fun!

Well, now that the immediate excitement and fun is over, I found out that Brooms Can Stand Up On Their Own Any Day Of The Year. Here’s Why…

If you read my post yesterday, I talked about several different reasons people believed this worked. Everything from NASA saying why to it just being the bristles of the broom.

The majority kept saying it was NASA that said it had something to do with gravity but I looked on their website, social media channels and Googled and couldn’t find a single credible source they ever said that.

BUT then, today they actually made a short statement in a video saying “It’s just physics”.

Did you watch the video above? It was actually posted on the official NASA Twitter… Yup, it’s just physics.

It has nothing to do with the gravity, a Spring solstice, wizardry, magnetic pulls or anything other than phyiscs.

Sorry, didn’t mean to rain on your parade but it’s true. I tried it again this morning and it worked!

Hey, at least we all had a little fun and lots of laughs, right?
