You Can Get A Wearable Sleeping Bag For Camping And I Need One In My Life
Ok, so my first thought when seeing this product was, WHERE THE HECK WAS THIS IN COLLEGE? I totally would have worn one of these to class for naps. Don’t judge me, you would have too!
Selk’bag Wearable Sleeping Bags are the new big hit. And I want one in every color. I want to go camping in them, and wear them out for extra warmth and comfy-ness. I can’t believe these weren’t a thing when I was younger or I would have totally used these at sleepovers too!
These are the product details:
- Made from soft, ripstop nylon with a durable water resistant finish on the shell providing comfort and functionality for a variety of weather conditions.
- The ultimate lounge partner and sleeping system; Use it in the tent, take it on a hike, make marshmallows by the campfire, catch a morning sunrise down on the beach
- Removable booties easily unzip so you can wear your own shoes or keep the booties closed for heat preservation; Reinforced outsoles protect the material while on the move outside
- Exaggerated draft tubes stop heat loss around the zippers while a thermal collar around the head and neck prevent drafts; Zippered leg and chest vents shed unwanted heat if you feel too warm
- Designed with elastic no-hassle hand openings and double front zippers for quick entry; Comes with a convenient carry sack for compact portability
Just the thought of owning one of these makes me want to go camping. It looks so stinking cozy. But let’s be honest, most of us would be totally fine rocking this just plain at home. And there is no shame in that!
Or I guess you can wear it as extra cushioning for skateboarding? Or imagine this…a snowball fight. You’d NEVER get cold.
As soon as I get my hands on one of these, I’m totally going camping. I may even brave it without a tent if I can zip up everything to keep the creepy crawlies out.
Social distancing group hang? Camping party? Heck to the freaking yes.
One customer review states:
This is the best invention ever. I love to be outside and sleep outside and my sleeping bag is all pre-warmed up because I’ve been wearing it. This is great if you like hammocks, as it is easy to get in and out! I have a cot with a tent attached to it and this year have been teaching myself about the stars and constellations. I can go outside, with my sleeping bag on, and sit in a chair for as long as I want to star gaze and crawl right into my cot with my warm sleeping bag on.
It is perfect for that. I do not try to walk with the feet on but rather un-zip half way, fold them up and tie them to my legs and wear my boots with my ice grips if its snowy. When I crawl into my bed I remove the boots and zip up the feet. When I took them completely off it was hard to see in the dark to get them on again.
I love the front pocket for my flashlight and small notebook and I love the way the hands are extra warm with the little slit to stick your hands out when you need them. It even has Velcro to hold them back out of your way for doing stuff.
You can grab one of these on the Amazon Website for $160.00 with free shipping. The hardest part is deciding which color to get!
