What Happened to Lisa Marie Presley? Here’s Everything We Know.

The world is a sadder place tonight after hearing of the passing of Lisa Marie Presley (daughter of Elvis Presley).

She was only 54 years old.

According to TMZ, earlier today EMTs responded to Lisa’s home after a 9-1-1 call.

At the time, it was presumed she suffered cardiac arrest (a heart attack).

A source close to Lisa Marie told TMZ that Lisa Marie’s housekeeper found her unresponsive in her bedroom.

At about the same time, Lisa’s ex-husband, Danny Keough, got home from taking the kids to school and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

In case you didn’t know, Danny and Lisa had been living together for quite some time.

Sources also told TMZ that paramedics performed CPR at her house in Calabasas and gave her epinephrine before rushing her to a nearby hospital.

EMTs were able to regain a pulse before she was transported.

Once Lisa Marie arrived to the hospital, she was listed as “critical condition” for several hours.

Mother Priscilla, arrived at the hospital shortly after and posted on social media saying:

My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world, and ask for privacy during this time.

She then made an updated statement to People several hours later saying:

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” said Priscilla. “She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley were just at the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday night in Beverly Hills.

While she may have seemed fine, some outlets such as Extra TV and ET Online said she “was seemingly struggling” and “seemed a bit unsteady” at the event.

Her and her mom were there to see Austin Butler win a Globe for his portrayal of the King of Rock n’ Roll in the film Elvis.

At this time, no final word has been made as to how she did (although cardiac arrest was suspected from the beginning). We will have to wait for a final cause of death to be released.

This is just so sad and my heart breaks for her family and friends.
