You oughta know that Alanis Morissette is going on tour with Liz Phair and Garbage, and isn’t it ironic that it was 25 years ago we were jamming out in the back of an old station wagon and rocking beanies to cover up our stringy hair?!?

You live, you learn, you laugh, but Mr. Duplicity, if my husband doesn’t get me tickets for Christmas, I will not be doing him any favors in a theater for a while, if you know what I mean.

The 31-date tour will begin in Portland, Oregon in early June 2020 and will end in Nashville, Tennessee at the end of July.

She will be making stops nationwide in cities like Seattle, Austin, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Tampa, and Cincinnati just to name a few. The tour will be put on by Live Nation.

Tickets will go on pre-sale on 12/12/19 at 11 am your local time so get ready to camp out and grab tickets. I know I am!

I’m not sure if it’s actually ironic, or just Alanis Morissette ironic that most of the women in the audience now have daughters the same age they were the first time they saw Alanis play, but either way it’s a jagged little pill to swallow.
