Anonymous Hacking Group Hacks Russian TV Channels to ‘Broadcast the Truth’

Since the Russian invasion began against Ukraine, the Anonymous hacking group has since declared a cyber war against Russia until peace is regained.

More specifically, one of the world’s top hackers have hacked Russian television channels to ‘broadcast the truth’ about the deadly conflicts that are currently happening in Ukraine.

Multiple Russian broadcasts have been criticized for repeating President Vladimir Putin’s message about the invasion only being a ‘special operation’ and that Russia is not the aggressor.

Since the attack, social media networks have been restricted in the country to prevent images of the damage and suffering that is currently undergoing in Ukraine.

Countless numbers of videos on TikTok and other social media platforms show footage of Russian channels only broadcasting what’s happening on Ukraine front lines.

Channels showing dads who are forced to leave their children to stay back and fight for their country, damaged buildings from bombings, and Ukraine songs have been streaming on televisions.

Russian government websites have also been affected including the official Kremlin page that was also reported to be offline and is believed that Anonymous is responsible for those hacks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also been trending as the leader of the Ukraine country has put himself on the front lines to fight against the war Russia has started.
