Mars Candy Released An App That Allows Kids To Trick-Or-Treat Virtually For Halloween And We Are Here For It
So, I am one of those people holding on to hope that we get to have a real Halloween this year. My kids are not little anymore, but they do want to have Halloween still! This year they had planned to dress up and hand out candy.
But, in case that doesn’t happen this year, Mars Wrigley Confectionery has something planned. They are creating a new app just for Halloween. The app will let kids trick-or-treat virtually.
The app is called TREAT TOWN Halloween.
The first thing you will do is set up a family profile. Then you can decorate your virtual door, and help your kids create spooky monster avatars.
Then you invite your neighbors and family to join the fun. Through the app, you will be able to buy virtual candy credits that your trick-or-treaters can redeem for real candy, from brands like M&M’S, Snickers, Skittles, Twix, and more!
The trick-or-treat event will last for an entire month! It isn’t just on Halloween. You can do this with your neighborhood, or virtually visit friends and families across the country.
Like I said, I still hope that Halloween will happen normally for all of our children. But this is kind of a cool idea just in case. I just want some normalcy back for the kids.
