If you love avocados you are going to want to check this out!
These are called Avocado bombs and the internet is going pretty wild about them right now!
Kimberly Willingham posted her photos and a recipe for Avocado Bombs on Facebook and it quickly took off and at the time of this writing has been shared 185,000 times!
She was not expecting that sort of response, but when you post something this magical sounding, yea… it’s going to go crazy!
Here is what you’ll need to make your own Avocado Bombs:
- Large Avocados
- Pepper Jack Cheese
- Ground Beef (season with your favorites)
- Your favorite BBQ sauce
The first thing that you need to do is peel and remove the pit from the avocados and cut the Pepper Jack cheese into cubes.
Put a cube of Pepper Jack cheese into the pit area of each side of the avocado and put the pieces back together and basically, you wrap the avocado with your hamburger meat.
The next step is to wrap bacon over the top of the hamburger meat layer, as shown in the image below.
Next, you will place these on the grill at a 375-degree temperature, but not directly in the flame for one hour.
After one hour, add your BBQ sauce and let them cook for about another 30 minutes, then cut those bad boys open and enjoy!
