This Boho Macrame Christmas Tree Wall Hanging Brings Back All Of The Nostalgia
I love simple old fashioned Christmas decorations. Macrame reminds me of being a kid because my mom and all of my aunts used to make all sorts of macrame things.
Mostly I remember the macrame plant holders that you hung from the ceiling. They were pretty much floor to ceiling decorations and they would normally have a spider plant or some other hanging plant in there.
When I saw these macrame Christmas tree wall hangings it sparked those childhood memories of late 70’s early 80’s decor. They hang flat against the wall, so they fit pretty much anywhere in the home.
They are made with a gorgeous dark green cotton rope and a natural wood stick. The macrame Christmas tree measures 30cm wide (including the wooden stick) and 62cm tall (including the wooden ring).
These are completely hand-woven and the detail is gorgeous without being over the top! I wish my hands worked in a way where I could create such beauty from a soft rope, I think I would be a fiber art addict if I could manage it.
The bell decorations are so cute and I especially love that snowflake ornament detail! You can get one of these beautiful Macrame Christmas Tree Wall Hangings from GradyMacrame on Etsy!
