Chris Evans Is Sending A Captain America Shield To A Boy Who Saved His Sister From A Dog Attack
On July 9th, 6-year-old Bridger’s life changed in a big way.
His little sister was about to be attacked by a charging dog, but Bridger stepped in the path. The dog attacked him, and bit his face. BUT, NOTHING happened to his little sister.
Bridger had to have intense surgery by a plastic surgeon, receiving 90 stitches to his face, and he is going through the painful recovery process, but he is a HERO! He literally SAVED his little sister.
He told his parents, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” OMG. How sweet is that?!?
His aunt, Nikki Walker, took to social media to tell everyone what had happened to her precious nephew, and try to get the word out to Bridger’s favorite Heroes.
Members of the Avengers — as well as other celebrities — indeed caught wind of what Bridger had done for his sister.
Mark Ruffalo — The Hulk — was the first to jump in and show his support of Bridger, writing on one of Nikki’s posts, “more of man than many, many I have seen or known.”
Numerous other onscreen superheroes celebrated Bridger, including Robbie Amell (who plays Firestorm on The Flash), Brie Larson (who plays Captain Marvel in the Marvel films), and Grant Gustin (who plays the Flash on The CW).

Captain America even sent Bridger a special message, and promised to give him an OFFICIAL Captain America Shield.
Nikki shared a video of Bridger watching the video in real-time. Bridger was decked out in his Captain America costume as he got the message from the REAL LIFE Captain America — Chris Evans.
This is one of the SWEETEST things I’ve heard all week, and it’s so good to see there is still so much good in this crazy world!
