Okay, so here’s the thing… I totally own Emily Post’s Big Damn Book of Etiquette* and I know that I should do things like send out Thank You cards, birthday party invitations, and even super important things like Birth Announcements. But I fail at it.

Totally Fail.

That doesn’t stop me from spending hours and hours staring at all the adorable party invites, birth announcements and thank you cards from Minted, though. They’re so freaking cute! I want to be one of those women… those women who take the time to hand address invitations, put together fancy coordinated birthday parties, and even just remember to send out a darn thank you card now and again. I am just not sure how to go about it… is that something you can just start doing? Just start being a person who sends people vintage stationary letters printed on thick luxurious paper? Will it make my friends happy, or will they just think I am crazy cakes again?

How freakin’ cute would that be with my name on that? Ugh…. I love it. I totally want to be someone who sends HELLO notes in the mail to people for no particular reason!

I also want to be one of those moms who coordinates birthday parties in shabby chic vintage styles.

  1. It would be awesome to win, especially since they have a lot of neat Pirate themed party supplies and decorations that would be nice to have for my son’s Pirate Birthday Party!

  2. I love stationary! I swear, I used to be someone who was really good at sending things out like that, and making them all by hand, but I am not that lady anymore. I still squee when I see pretty paper, though 😀
