A Cross Formed With Rocks Was Found In The Area Where Gabby Petito Was Found

I don’t think Gabby would have been found as quickly if it hadn’t been for social media.

A blogging family had realized they had captured Gabby’s white Ford Transit van parked off the road on one of their videos.

It was in this area that her body was found and I feel like that video helped them to locate her body so quickly.

Gabby was a young woman that had gone on a cross-country road trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, who has been named as a person of interest in her missing person’s case, and now murder.

Agents from the FBI Denver field office, as well as local law enforcement teams, found human remains in the Spread Creek area that is consistent with Gabby’s description.

An autopsy is planned for today (Tuesday, September 21st) to confirm that it is indeed the body of Gabby Petito, but I think everyone already knows that it is.

Rocks placed on the ground in the shape of a cross were found near the spot where investigators found what is believed to be Gabby Petito’s remains.

This has not been confirmed at the time of this writing, however, the rock cross was found in the same area that was closed off while the investigation was happening.

The area has been re-opened since the FBI Response Team left yesterday.
