‘Dune’ Is The New Movie Starring Jason Momoa and It Looks Incredible
Have you ever watched the original Dune movie? It came out in 1984 and was directed by David Lynch. It was based on the 1965 novel by Frank Herbert. The 80s brought us a lot of great movies and guess what? Dune is coming back!
The new ‘Dune’ movie takes us to the world of Arrakis and it has giant sandworms! Arrakis is a desert-like planet where the spice called “melange” is found.
“Melange” is like a drug, fictional of course. In the movie, it is the most valuable resource. If taken regularly it would increase life expectancy, as well as open parts of the mind for expanded sensory perception.
This new ‘Dune’ movie is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also directed ‘Blade Runner 2049’. He is definitely no stranger to the sci-fi world. The visuals in this movie are fantastic! You’ll see that in the trailer! Absolutely stunning!
The cast includes Timothée Chalamet who plays the character Paul Atreides. Oscar Isaac plays his father, Duke Leto Atreides. Stellan Skarsgård, Zendaya (love her!), Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, and Dave Bautista are also starring in the film.
Yes, I said Jason Momoa! Ahhhhh!
