Raise your hand if you loved the Adam Sandler Netflix Halloween Movie, Hubie Halloween. Dear Lord, I watched it. I hated it. I almost couldn’t get through it.

Well, my friend, guess what. There is probably going to be a Hubie Halloween sequel.

I know. I asked, “WHY?!?!” as well.

If you aren’t familiar with the premise, let me help you out.

Adam Sandler plays a good hearted guy who is often the butt of teasing and jokes in his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts. On THIS particular Halloween, however, he finds himself in the midst of a REAL murder investigation. It is now up to Hubie to save the day.

That is a condensed version of the 1 hour and 45 minute snooze fest that you can stream right now on Netflix.

Like with MOST Adam Sandler movies, he brings his friends in to act out a part in the movie: Kevin James, Rob Schneider, Steve Buscemi, Tim Meadows — you know, the USUAL cast of Sandler movies.

But, y’all. It’s just not that funny — unless you are a 14-year-old boy who likes fart jokes and corny comedy.

So, imagine my complete surprise when they decided to bring out a sequel. Apparently the movie had a pretty good sized following, and those fans are begging for a part two.

A follow-up to the horror comedy pic is already in the early stages of development at the streaming service.

More details of the sequel have not yet been released, but I’m betting Sandler brings back his buddies, we get more cheesy jokes, and we get comedy that just misses being funny.

Why can’t we get a sequel of 50 First Dates or The Wedding Singer. Now THOSE were good Sandler movies, AMIRITE?!?
