Is Amber Heard Being Replaced in Aquaman 2? Here’s What We Know.

Remember a few months back when a petition started circulating and then went viral to have Amber Heard removed from Aquaman 2?

At the time, the petition was nearing 4 million signatures, that’s just how many people did not want to see Amber in the movie.

Well, turns out, Warner Bros. didn’t want her in it either. That is, at least according to Amber Heard who claims she had to fight to keep her role in that movie.

During the trial Amber said:

“I have. I fought really hard to stay in the movie,” she said. “They didn’t want to include me in the film.”

Near the end of the defamation trial against Johnny Depp, Amber’s role had seemingly been cut down to just 10 minutes in Aquaman 2 but people said it wasn’t enough…

And now, rumors are spreading that Warner Bros. has since decided to recast Amber Heard’s role as Mera in Aquaman 2.

The rumor is, Warner Bros. decided to recast Amber Heard’s scenes doing reshoots with Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman.

So, is it true?

Well, at this time it doesn’t look so.

 The Blast apparently reached out to Amber Heard for comment on the rumors, with a spokesperson stating:

“The rumor mill continues as it has from day one — inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.” The original story is below.

All this time, Warner Bros. also hasn’t made a statement saying this so it still looks as if she is in the movie.
