Here’s How to Get Free And Discounted Rides Home On New Year’s Eve
We all know it’s going to happen. People will go out New Year’s Eve, party it up, and have no plans to safely get home.
This often means smash ups and crashes due to trying to drive intoxicated.

If you are lucky enough to live in the Chicago area, the Chicago Transit Authority is offering free rides this New Year’s Eve.
This deal is being offered from 10pm to 4am, but be careful NOT to use your Ventra card, or you will still be charged.
Other transit authorities around the country are offering much the same deal, so check in your local area.
Obviously, this is to help prevent accidents due to drinking one-too-many glasses of bubbly during the New Year’s Eve festivities.
Uber and Lyft are also getting in on the action, offering discounted fares in many areas.
In some places, you will need a discount code. Make sure you look it up online before you head out for your New Year’s Eve plans.
If you don’t live in one of the areas where Uber and Lyft are offering discounted New Year’s Eve rides, never fear. If you have NEVER ridden with one of the rideshare services before, you can get special deals for new users.
