Kim Kardashian Was Interviewed By David Letterman And It’s The Best Thing On Netflix Right Now

Sometimes I just like to go to Netflix, and watch something off the Top 10. It’s constantly changing, and there is always something new for me to mindlessly stream on my computer or TV.

That is what happened when I ran across My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman. I have never watched the show, though I have seen it advertised a couple times.

I also have never seen even one episode of The Kardashians (Can I be a true Pop Culture Writer if I admit that?). It just doesn’t intrigue me.

BUT, this particular episode of David Letterman’s show had Kim Kardashian as a guest. I didn’t watch it, and didn’t watch it, and didn’t watch it, but it remained on the Top 10 list.

I finally gave in, bit the bullet, and turned the show on, expecting to just have it playing as white noise in the background while I worked.

For the next 46 minutes, I sat staring at my computer, getting nothing else done. This girl is actually articulate, she seems to have a good head on her shoulders, is well spoken, and has solid ideas and opinions.

This is a far cry from the persona of Kim Kardashian that I have built up in my mind.

I was literally blown away. Like, she is actually entertaining. She has lead a very interesting life. She has done things with the current administration in Washington to fight for justice in the criminal justice system.

Y’all. I am floored right now. This show was actually so good. Like, I will recommend you go watch — ESPECIALLY if you aren’t on the Kardashian bandwagon. It will make you just a little more aware of the everyday life of a Kardashian — which isn’t as vapid and entitled as I thought!

I hate to admit, that I have always viewed the Kardashians as sort of a joke. Now I feel bad about that. They work very, very hard for everything they have accomplished.

Sure — the family sometimes shows a bit more skin than I might be comfortable with, but HEY they are trying to stay relevant, right?

Head on over to Netflix, and watch My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman. I can’t vouch for EVERY episode, but the Kim Kardashian episode was actually very, very good.
