Matthew Perry Confirmed That Filming Has Started On The ‘Friends’ Reunion and I’m So Excited

It’s happening! It’s happening! It’s happening!

Matthew Perry let it slip that the Friends reunion is indeed filming, and could I BE more excited?!?

He took to Instagram, as we all do, to share his exciting news — the Friends cast was back together, in the studio, and filming had started.

“Seconds before eating a makeup brush. Not to mention reuniting with my Friends,” he captioned the photo of himself in the makeup chair.

BUT, like all good and juicy things, it was yanked from Instagram just minutes later.

I’m guessing the Powers That Be weren’t quite ready to let the cat out of the bag yet.

I mean, we knew it was happening — and soon — but I am ecstatic that they are actually in the studio and filming!!

Now, before you get too crazy excited, they aren’t reuniting as Rachel, Ross, Phoebe, Chandler, and Joey.

They will be coming together as themselves — like the actual real-life people — and chatting about the show.

I was quite bummed about that, but hey, at least we get to be with our Friends again for a little while.

The reunion show will be on HBO Max, so now might be a great time to go join the streaming service!

And hey, if you get HBO Max, you can also watch the Tiny Toons reboot, Batman: The Animated Series, and the Sex and the City reboot.
