Part of the fun of snow in the forecast is catching snowflakes on your tongue, and eating the CLEAN white snow.
But, you know what you should NEVER eat? Icicles. They sure are pretty, but you know what else they are? GROSS!
You often find icicles hanging off house roofs. They are like the BLING of the winter season, AMIRITE?!?
BUT, you know what else you find on roofs? Bird poop. That’s right, I went there. Birds do their business all over your roof — not to mention bugs, squirrels, and other creepy crawlies.
Do you know how icicles are made? The water runs down your roof and forms icicles as the water drips down all the edges.
You know what gets caught up in that dripping water? All that poop on your roof.
Don’t believe me? Just think about it, and try not to gag a little.
@weather_katie on TikTok is a bonafide meteorologist, and she bring a disgusting awareness to the whole icicle eating phenomenon.
