There Is A Giant New Wizarding World Of Harry Potter Store In New York, And Is There A Spell That Will Take Me There Now?

There is a new Wizarding World of Harry Potter store in New York, and *GASP* It’s time to take a roadtrip!!

We no longer have to take a trip to Orlando and fight the crowds — and the HEAT — to make it to an actual Wizarding World of Harry Potter store.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I could spend a WEEK immersing myself in all the Harry Potter that Universal Orlando has to offer!

But, we can forgo the Diagon Alley that sits in Orlando, and hit New York for this MASSIVE new flagship store!

I mean, you could make an entire day-trip out of bathing your soul in the New York Wizarding World of Harry Potter — and that is EXACTLY what I plan to do!

According to the Wizarding Word website, this new store is a “three-storey retail experience that houses the largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products under one roof.”

There has NEVER before been quite the perfect moment for a *SQUEE*!!

Can you just imagine all the PERFECT wizardly selfie opportunities that are about to flood Instagram?!?

Oh my gosh, I can just imagine that WORKING there would be insanely fun! I just might move to NY. Ha!

This ginormous shop has over FIFTEEN themed areas — there will be virtual reality experiences, interactive areas, exclusive merchandise, and all the wizarding fun you can imagine — even MORE than you can imagine — in a retail store!!

Upon entering Harry Potter New York, visitors will be greeted with a huge, floating model of Fawkes the phoenix, created especially for this new store. Created by a team of specialist propmakers over a number of months, Fawkes weighs over 100kg and is just one of several meticulously detailed homages you can expect to see.

Wizarding World

Not only are they going to have wicked-cool things for sale, you will get to see ACTUAL props from the films displayed among the merchandise.

And, y’all, make sure you are a member of the OFFICIAL Harry Potter Fan Club — with their exclusive app, you can experience even more hidden gems that the normal public can’t see!

Simply look out for our Enchanted Keys, which can be scanned in your app to bring up extra details about the store and your surroundings and learn a few behind-the-scenes snippets alongside your shopping experience. These keys have been precariously placed around the store – so keep a watchful eye.

Wizarding World

Every nook and cranny of this Wizarding World store is “steeped in magical nuances,” and everybody — fans of the world of Harry Potter or not — will be amazed by the space!

I’d venture to say, if you walk in there as an unbelieving muggle, you will walk out of there completely obsessed.

As you might guess, there is a Wand Shop within the walls of this Wizarding World store — they even have an EXCLUSIVE wand that you can only get at this location — the Golden Snitch Wand!

There is even going to be a Personalisation Area, where shoppers can get their names engraved or embroidered on select merchandise — you get to BECOME a wizard, yourself!!

Yes, this store is ALREADY OPEN to the public, and it is located next to the Flatiron building, at 935 Broadway.

I seriously doubt you will miss this massive store if you are walking down the street!!
