I love Starbucks but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t an easy way to go broke fast.

I mean, every single time I get my favorite drink, a Mango Dragonfruit Refresher, it’s easily $5 or more (considering I also add a tip).

So, I am always looking for ways to get my Starbucks fix while also keeping my budget in check.

And guess what? I think I just found the holy grail of all drinks because you can get your Starbucks fix all while paying about 1/3 the cost as your usual latte or Frappuccino order.

Now, I will say, you must be someone who actually likes the taste of coffee because this has a strong coffee flavor. So, if you do, it is perfect for you.

Here’s How You Can Order a Coffee at Starbucks For 1/3 The Price As Usual

All you need to do is order 1 shot of espresso brewed over whipped cream. That’s it!

The whipped cream melts from the hot espresso and it’s so yummy (again it’s strong but yummy). I can’t believe I just learned about this and I’ve been going to Starbucks for YEARS!

And if you are ordering from the app, just go into order as usual and under “Hot Coffees” scroll down to “Espresso Shots” and select the “Espresso Con Panna” option.

That is exactly what it is. The standard size is the Doppio and it comes with 2 shots of espresso. If you think that’ll be too strong, just ask for the Solo and that only comes with 1 shot of espresso.

The cost is right around $2.35-$2.65 depending on the size you order which is totally 1/3 of any usual drink at Starbucks.

So, the next time you need a good dose of caffeine but don’t want to break the bank, give this a try! Just about any coffee shop will make this for you not just Starbucks.
