President Donald Trump Has Coronavirus
Earlier today you may have heard how President Trump’s aide Hope Hicks contracted the virus and now, President Trump Just Announced He and First Lady Melania Trump Have Tested Positive for COVID-19.
The announcement came via Twitter just a few minutes ago when President Trump himself announced the positive test results.
He posted saying:
“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”
This just came hours after he announced that the two would be quarantining after Hope’s positive test result.
According to reports, in a memorandum, the president’s physician said that the president and first lady “are both well at this time” and “plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence.”
“Rest assured I expect the President to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering,” he added.
