The President Says He Wants To Get A Larger Stimulus Check Into The Hands Of U.S. Citizens

There has been all kinds of talk about a new stimulus package for the people of America.

The House already passed the HEROES Act, which would have granted each person up to $1200, with a $6K maximum per family. The Senate has yet to vote on the Bill.

The important dates that may determine if and when we get checks are all in July, starting with July 2nd, when the Unemployment Report for June comes out. So, if we see a stimulus check, it may not be until the end of July.

President Trump was asked about the possibility of another stimulus in an interview with Fox Business. He seemed very positive about the fact that another stimulus would be on its way.

Here is what he had to say:

I do. I support it but it has to be done properly. And I support actually larger numbers than the Democrats, but it’s gotta be done properly.

We had something where it gave you a disincentive to work last time. And it was still money going to people, and helping people, so I was all for that. But, we want to create a very great incentive to work.

I want the money getting to people to be larger, so they can spend it. I want them to get it quickly, and in a non complicated fashion.

They wanted to make it too complicated. Also, it was an incentive not to go to work. You’d make more money if you don’t go to work. That’s not what the country is all about.

Does this mean that we may get an incentive bonus for returning to work? That is something that has been speculated upon in the last few months.

We will just have to wait and see what happens when the Senate finally decides to address the HEROES Act. You know we will let you know as soon as we hear anything.
