This sheet pan hamburger hack is a game changer for weeknight dinners!

Why does the family have to eat dinner every. single. night. of the week?

It feels like all of my free time is split between doing laundry and being a short order cook for the fam.

But, there is a hack for making hamburger meat that just gave me back like 20 minutes of my life.

Hey, I’ll take all the time I can get, right?!?

Brandi Ward, on TikTok, starts this hack with 2 pounds of ground beef.

The leaner the ground beef, the better — like I’d go with a good 93/7 fat ratio.

You don’t want 1) the grease spilling over in the oven, or 2) your meat swimming in fat whilst it cooks.

Then you are going to need a cookie sheet with a lip around the entire pan, and some aluminum foil.

Line your cookie sheet with the foil — easy cleanup for the win — then press all that meat right in.

Really pack it down. You want your sheet pan ground beef to have a flat top with no variations in thickness.

Also, gather up all the seasonings your little heart desires.

Salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, onion powder, seasoning salt, or grab a packet of taco seasoning and throw it right on top of the meat.

Now, pop that bad boy into a 350º oven for about 20 minutes. You want it to reach an internal temp of 160º to 165º.

While the meat is cooking, you can get your stuff for hamburgers ready!!

Get a pack of Hawaiian rolls, and cut the whole thing in half.

Load them up with cheese and your other toppings of choice.

When the meat comes out of the oven, plop the entire thing on top of the bottom half of the rolls.

Slice that bad boy up, and you INSTANTLY have little sliders.

Boom! Done!!

You can also use the meat for other things.

Quesadillas, break it apart and put it in spaghetti sauce, hamburger steaks, nachos, put it in salads, soups — so many options!!

You can even cook it up, and freeze it for later use!!

Genius, right?!?
